Undergraduate Programs

The Department offers three undergraduate programs: A B.S. program in Computer Science, a B.S. program in Information Technology, and a (4+1) B.S.-M.S. program in Computer Science.

These programs prepare students both for a professional career in the field of computing or for further graduate study, if that is the student's inclination.

Graduates will find employment in research and development, software development, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and Web and database technologies.

Internship and Co-op Programs

Students can gain first-hand experience of the daily activities of professionals in the field of Computer Science by pursuing an internship or a co-op.

UPE/ACM Chapters

The department is a Lambda Chapter of Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE), which is the only international honor society in the Computing and Information Disciplines. Join Our Local Chapter.

Graduate Programs

The M.S. Programs in Computer Science provide a comprehensive approach to advanced study in computer science.

They also prepare the student to hold a variety of professional and technical positions in all areas of computer science.

M.S. Program Description

Students may choose to graduate with an M.S. Degree in Computer Science using:

Cybersecurity Certificate Program (Online)

The program is intended for professionals who already hold an undergraduate degree and may wish to take the first step towards an M.S. in Computer Science with concentration in cybersecurity or M.S. in Cybersecurity.

Undergraduate Preparation

Students seeking admission to the graduate program must have a B.S. degree from an accredited college or university. In addition, applicants should have the necessary undergraduate preparation.
